Such fun!!

One of the things that I really like to do is ride on the tractor with my Dad. Here's a picture of us getting ready to go do some tractor work. Notice the great chair my Dad fixed up for me. I LOVE IT!!

Healthy At Last!!

Yes, (knock on wood) the Baker Family is healthy at last! Jeff is healthy and very happy. Bob is doing great and is getting ready to race up the mountain tomorrow. And believe it or not, even I am starting to feel better!

Dennis the guy we had working with Jeff is going to be moving soon, so he had to quit working with Jeff. We were very disappointed because he was so good with Jeff. But as of yesterday, we have someone new to work with Jeff, and I think it is going to work out very well. Clay Kohler, the young man that Bob trained in running for 2 1/2 years is home from college for the summer and he agreed to work with Jeff. He knows sign language which is a big plus. He was a little afraid at first, only because he has never been around Jeff. Yesterday & today they spent time just getting to know each other. Clay took Jeff to the park yesterday where Jeff played on the swings, and slides. He ate his lunch there and then they came home. Clay asked, when he hits me, how do I get him to stop, and what do I do? I had to smile. I told him to sign to him to stop please, then move away so he can't reach you. I also told him to redirect Jeff by getting him interested in doing something else. Today they went to the high school track and walked four laps together. Clay said it went really well. Jeff actually had fun and laughed. I feel good about Clay and feel this is going to be good for Jeff. Jeff hopefully feels like he has a new buddy and I'm sure he enjoys being away from Mom and Dad for a while each day.
