Excitement Is Mounting

The flu bug has bid it's farewell to all members of the Baker home. We were all quite glad to see that nasty guy go.

The excitement is mounting as we look forward to our trip to TEXAS next week. I've told Jeff he is going to ride on an airplane. He goes to the window and looks up and signs 'airplane'. I know he doesn't understand the concept of 'when' so I probably should have waited until the day before to tell him. (He does understand 'tomorrow'.) I've showed him Dave's family pictures and Kelly's family pictures to let him know that is who we are going to see. Princess Shayla is going to be turning 8 and will be baptized and we are so excited to be able to be there for that special occasion.

Here is Jeff at the window signing 'airplane'

Have fun on the plan, Jeff. Kennedy was so excited to go on a plane for the first time. We are going to go on a plane this summer to Boston & Chicago. I hope we will see you in Chicago.

Have fun in Texas!!!

I can't help but chuckle when I visualize Jeff sitting behind someone, bouncing his foot off their seat....better yet, bouncing/rocking in his seat and the guy behind him not being able to use his drink tray without the drink sloshing all over!

If his weighted vest still fits you may want to have him wear that, you think? Would that help with the weird sensations that lift off and landing give?

I can just see Jeff going nuts to get to everyone's overhead light to tape his ceations up, string looping eveywhere, spitwads decorating the windows....

Thanks for being you, Jeff! We love you and can't wait to see you all again!
